Orgie Lee "O.L." Stanley

Orgie Lee "O.L." Stanley of Smithville passed away Thursday morning August 2, 2018 at NHC Healthcare in Smithville.  He was born March 22, 1939 to his parents the late Robert and Sarah Ferrell Stanley.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son Larry Stanley and several brothers and sisters.  Mr. Stanley was a construction worker and Christian.  Survivors include Son: Donnie (Kathy) Stanley of Sparta; Daughters: Brenda (Jeff) Taylor, Sandy Atnip both of Smithville; Grandchildren: Donnie Stanley, Jr., Tonyia Sparks, Colleen Clary, Matt Stanley, Katrena Miller, Karen France, David Taylor, Ricky Atnip Jr., Brandon Atnip, Christopher Atnip; Sisters: Barbara Ann Tucker of Manchester, Josephine Butcher of McMinnville, Etta Mae Williams of Woodbury; 18 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild; Caregiver: Linda Sutton; several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.  Funeral services for Mr. Stanley will be held 10:AM Saturday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Mike Clayborn and Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be held Friday 3:PM until 8:PM and Saturday 8:AM until the time of service at 10:AM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
