Tammy Lynn (Gesford) Starkey

Tammy Lynn Gesford Starkey age 38 of Smithville passed away Monday August 30, 2021 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital in Smithville.  She was born August 7, 1983 to her parents Marvin Gesford, Sr. and the late Pamela Gesford.  She was a member of Roundlick Baptist Church and a Customer Service Rep with Verizon.  In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by infant brother Shawn Gesford.  Funeral Services will be held 3:PM Friday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Dan Gulley and Casey Midgett officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.  Visitation with the family will be Friday 1:PM until the time of the service at 3:PM.  Survivors include her husband William Starkey of Smithville; 4 sons: Dakota Alexander Starkey, Logan Lewis Starkey, Zane Elliott Starkey and Brantley William Starkey all of Smithville; Father: Marvin Gesford, Sr. of Smithville; Sister: Lisa Siford of Martinsburg, WV; Brother: Marvin Lewis Gesford, Jr.  Due to COVID-19 our lounge is closed and no food or drinks are allowed in the funeral home.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
